Community Alert: Vehicle Break-Ins:

We’ve had a recent spate of vehicle break-ins in the areas of Long Clawson, Plungar and Harby where items have been stolen from insecure vehicles. Please take extra care to secure your vehicles and belongings.

Safety & Target Hardening Advice:

Remove Valuables: Never leave items such as bags, electronics, or loose change visible inside your vehicle.

Lock Up: Always lock doors and windows, even if you’re only leaving the car for a short time.

Park Smart: Use well-lit areas or secure garages where possible.

Use Additional Security: Consider steering wheel locks, alarms, or tracking devices for added protection.

Install CCTV or Doorbell Cameras: Visible cameras can act as a strong deterrent and help capture evidence if a crime occurs.

Report Suspicious Activity: If you see anything unusual, contact us immediately via 101 or call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress.
